Landline phone through pc not using voip, but regular phone service? - pc to phone service
I'm trying to see if you can make a standard telephone service line on a standard PC and talk via PC headset instead of the normal landline connection to connect.
The reason:
I'm trying a way to find the phone with my standard greeting of the company's response, instead of saying that, physically, every time you answer the phone. So, if you are interested in a different way in order would be a standard telephone greeting to apply them.
I also use the system to announce calls to make the name of the company and to call me, then I start to speak, which is completed after repeated introduction.
Thank you for your help.

I know you can not hook your phone to the PC for use with the same kind of data would be incomprehensible how the modem line and beep when you connect to the Internet. There is software you can answer the phone when it rings and possibly some kind of automated system before you have a greeting, the problem is that generally employed by companies with a T3 line, or VoIP, telephony software, computer, or seek software (SIP), Session Initiation Protocol. Research, which must begin with this kind of communication with the PC. It is perhaps not exactly what you want, but it is an extension of the network is not in any way. If you are looking wikipidia protocol application, there are all kinds of links to software and the terminology will help to investigate them.
